Our Story

Built for Columbia, by People Who Believe in Community

Curiosity Coffee Bar opened on Main Street because we believed Columbia deserved a coffee shop that did more than just sell lattes. We wanted a space that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood — where regulars are known by name, newcomers are welcomed, and the menu surprises you.

We serve specialty coffee alongside beer, wine, and our signature sake cocktails. Our food menu features fresh sandwiches and wraps with vegan and gluten-free options always available — because no one should feel like an afterthought when they walk in the door.

We host art shows, community events, and regular gatherings that bring Columbia together. With 788 Google reviews and a 4.7-star rating, we think the city has told us we're doing something right.
